Dylan Ioannou-Boot
Dylan’s specialises in criminal defence, regulatory and coronial matters, and has a keen interest in refugee and human rights law. He dedicated to safeguarding individual against the State, and regularly works interstate with organisations such as the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency (NAAJA) to represent some of the most disadvantaged people in Australia.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Dylan worked in several roles, including as an associate to Her Honour Judge Nola Karapanagiotidis at the County Court of Victoria, and as a criminal defence lawyer in a private law firm.
Outside of the Bar, Dylan volunteers with the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre and various community legal centres. Dylan also lectures at the University of Melbourne and is completing a Master of Law at the Australian National University.
